For instance, rather than starting a new thread about some thrash band you've heard about, just click on the link to the Thrash Metal thread in here and bump that thread. Please, feel free to add to this as you deem fit, and I or one of the mods will try to keep it all in this one post just for clarity's sake.

Why should it be unstickied? I'm sure some new people find it useful.

It should be used to add all the top album threads. I used it heavily as a mod.

You can do whatever you want with this thread. I have no idea if it gets used, or how much, but I do like the idea of a sticky thread that consolidates and organizes all the notable opinions of the bands we discuss in one place so they don't get lost.
