The Good Old Now Eating (and/or drinking)Thread!

I just had some wine... and feel a bit happy now.

Speaking of food, does anyone have Ben and Jerry's ice cream in their area? If you do, have you ever tried One Sweet Swirled (the ice cream named after a DMB song)? My friend wants to try it, but we don't have Ben and Jerry's in our area... I want some Swirl ice cream too, even if I don't like DMB (or the mentality of some of their fans)...

Is the ice cream good, and where do they have it? :)

I am glad to see my thread is doing very well :), anyways let's not get off topic.

NE: Rainbow Trout and Pacific Salmon straight from Vancouver.

It is delicious, but quite expensive, I reccommend Cherry Garcia. You can find at your local grocery store, I dunno if they have this place out west, but I buy mine at Sobey's, Market Fresh, and some other place. Very delicious Ice Cream.

Pardon the racism, but people from anglo-saxon countries know NOTHING about ice cream. If I had the money I'd invite you all over for a real one. Actually the only international quality that is up to par would be Hagen-Daas (sp?), the chocolate varieties.

Anglosaxons know nothing about food, darling ;)

Thanks for the tips about the One Sweet Swirled. Seems I may have to travel to get some of it. Wonder if it's available in Scandinavia...

Hehe, yeah, for me, taro root, lychee, green tea, and sesame seed ice cream are much better than the standard stuff 95% of the population eats. ;)

 what does this stuff has to do with ice cream?? i'm with hyena, your tastes have been perverted into something inhuman when it comes to ice cream. :D

rahvin.

hah, you bet, there is an icecream fair not too far from here, and they make all sorts of weird flavors, like shrimp, chilli and oyster, just so stupid people can brag about eating shit like that

Thanatos (no I haven't tried them)

Shrimp? That sounds disgusting. :(

As for the exotic flavours of ice cream here. They are mostly imported and are available here. Despite the strange names, they taste great. Try some if you get the chance. I suggest taro root. :)

the most "unusual" kind of ice-cream I've eaten so far is the one with "mint"..now you imagine the look in my face when I read your posts that full of weird ice-cream stuff :)

They make ice-cream down the road where I live. Some years ago the factory outlet had popcorn flavoured ice-cream for sale.
The sad ending of the story - I bought it and found it somewhat enjoyable. :)
