This Friday, the first book of the Hannibal Lecter trilogy, "Red Dragon," comes out in a major motion picture.

Will this live up to "The Silence Of The Lambs" or "Hannibal?"

We soon shall see...

I prefer Hannibal over Silence of the Lambs, but then I've only seen Silence once. I don't know much about the new ones, but I'm sure that if Red Dragon is done by the same director/producer/whatever then it will be as good.

Nope. All three movies have been made by different directors.

I have seen "Red Dragon," and I must say that I am quite pleased.

It is a return to form for the Hannibal Lecter series. I loved it.

Sir Anthony Hopkins is the freakin' man!

Hehe, Al Pacino is da man. Sir Anthony Hopkins is a slightly subordinate man, but a great one nonetheless. ;) I might have to go and see it now.

I read "Silence of the Lambs" and "Hannibal" (in german though) and saw both films... "Silence of the Lambs" was by far the better film IMHO and slightly the better book... I've neither read the book nor seen the first of the Trilogy... so I won't vote heh ;)

Well!

In the poll, "Hannibal" and "The Silence Of The Lambs" are tied!
