but my gf likes saying the "j" like a 'sha' and 'ja' mix(kind of how the 'ja' in Jacques, is pronounced), instead of the 'ya-nay'

For a boy I'd suggest Vili Valtteri It sounds kinda adorable and it's finnish...

When we had to think about names for our child, we decided that if it's a boy, he'll be Jesse or Jere. But now that I think of it, those are way too common names.
Well, we didn't choose either one of those, 'cause we got a beautiful daughter instead

Kaius. That's the name for your kid. I don't know what it means or anything, but a friend of mine has it as his 2nd name, and I've always thought it would be a cool name for a kid. If not for a first name, then for the second one.
