but what are the hurting words exactly? does warrel remember? did he say "fuck off you bitch" to his girlfriend or did he say "you even can'T play guitar" to jean blosl?

Perhaps Warrel wasn't reffering to any "hurting words" in particular, but was just making the point that in a lot of relationships, people say things that they don't mean out of rage, spite, or jealousy, and after they have realized what they've done it is too late for apologies because their loved one has left them.
