Hi,

Many technical death metal bands came out these last years. Some of them are cool, some not.

The purpose of this thread is to select some of the most interesting and personal ones.

Necrophagist and Obscura are quite famous, I really dig Gorod, Spawn of Possession,
Sceptic (polish band, afaik not existing anymore), Soreption, Retaliation (featuring
Fragle from the board), Subconcious - too bad that they're not as famous as they
should be.
Decrepit Birth are awesome, Odious Mortem and Severed Saviour, too, Unique Leader
Records are quite a good indicator for heavy and technical bands :D
 
Thanx for the answers. Many things I already knew, but a couple nice discoveries (BEYOND CREATION rules).

Any feedback about HECTIC PATTERNS. "Random" is one of the most interesting technical death metal album. The production is not that great, but the songwriting is incredible :


Another song, by another band, SPAWN OF POSSESSION. They are well known in this scene, and they deserve it. This album is absolutely ALIEN :
