The Jester Race

So, about this new album...

My friend Chris is a huge In Flames fanboy who used to (maybe still does) regard TJR as the best album of all time. When we heard from the band that the new stuff had some actual "harmonies" on it, we were skeptic. Now, I haven't heard any of the new tracks, but HE has and actually said to me "Dude, I'm not kidding. There are some parts on this album that actually sound like the Jester Race."

Hey, I'm always optimistic.

yes this album totally fucking rules! (but i do like The Inborn Lifeless better than Dead God in Me)

Actually, the Subterranean EP is arguably the best thing that In Flames ever did.
Arguably, because The Jester Race is also arguably the best thing they ever did.
it's hard to say. Subterranian is a little unique from the rest of their shit in that quite a few of the melodies have an extra 'modern' flair on them thats not quite typical In Flames style (and plenty that are). if Subterranean were a whole album that awesome and consistant i dont think there'd be a question.

i also think colony is better than tjr, fukkin sue me

jester race is their third best

Bingo. At least someone else is enlightened to the awesomeness of Colony and the overratedness of TJR.

In the correct order:

Lunar Strain
Subterrenean
Colony
The Jester Race
Whoracle
sour milk
Clayman
the rest

That pretty much sums up the FACTUAL evidence on In Flames, except switch Sub and Lunar Strain. But yeah.
