I really think Meat Loaf was, is and always will be complete shit, but this song proves that even a fat singer with a good-but-not-very-recognizable voice can still totally rule if you give him an awesome chorus!

I think it helps that the verse is really shit, it's like the ultimate contrast. Shit verse, almighty chorus. I can dig that just as much as I can dig awesomeness all the way through a song.

Skinny: I think he sounds like every other decent coverband singer. Of course his songs are recognizeable, because they are so famous, but if you play a non-single from the new-album to me, I wouldn't know who it is.

But that's my point: the song is and will always be king.

Öwen: and you are totally right. Keith Richards once said "we make the verses kinda shitty on purpose, so the choruses stick out more" - it's a tried and true method.
