I think I figured out why so many people are in mixed opinion about this release....

[Group A] If you already had "Taste of Victory", then "Weltanshauung" didn't really add much other than slap on a bunch of leftovers and interludes Hate Forest style.

[Group B] If you didn't already have "Taste..." then it's probably going to be a winnar overall. Good for you.

[Group C] Fanboys. Opinion is bunk. :p

It's still better than that Nightwish cover album...Goatsblood or whatever. :loco:

You hit it right on the head.

I actually dig the "leftovers", though, and add to that I probably listened to ToV a whole 2 times or something.

....although I gotta admit, the long build up of "Stardust" into the title track is brilliant, just because of that massively catchy intro. You just know when it's going to kick in and you can't stop your head from nodding along. :tickled:

Also, was it Mr Sirloin that mentioned the blues song..."Hailed be the Heroes"? Sounds like bluegrass! Pretty cool how the song progresses towards the end.

Keep listening to this, and slowly coming round to the non-ToV material....

that's right
