Tyrant in Distress
These are the ones I've played:
Legend of Zelda - bested only by Metroid and Super Mario 3 for best NES game. I even beat the 2nd Quest, though it was harder than the 1st.
Adventures of Link - interesting game, but I never could beat my shadow. Got there a few times and gave up. I have the Gamecube remake, maybe I'll try it again.
A Link to the Past - second best SNES game behind Super Metroid (get used to hearing this, I'm a Metroid fanboy to the extreme). Secret of Mana was definitely up there in the list, too. This is the best in the series, IMO. I did beat it, but I didn't find all the heart pieces
Ocarina of Time - played a bit at my friend's house. Seemed fun, but shooting dudes of the horse was next to impossible and I wasted many hours doing it. I have the Gamecube version, but have yet to play it.
Wind Waker - solid gameplay save this one. The cartoony graphics go from annoying to kind of cool back to kind of annoying. The story is kiddish, but the gameplay rocks and it's a fun game to play. Get used to sailing a LOT, though.
Never played the other N64 one (Majora's Mask) or any of the Gameboy ones.
So, the moral here is:
Metroid >>>>>>>>>>>> Zelda >>>>>>>>>>>> most other nintendo games
