i never really got into them that much, but i'm going to the Atlanta show June 23, mostly to see Alice Cooper, but I think I will like them live moreso than recorded or on tv etc...

Seeing Maiden live is the only way to experience them really. I've known many people who've been to their gigs saying they weren't fans, but came away having had a blast. They've had nearly forty years now to get good at it!

Yeah I've seen the same thing happen, bunch of folk who were at Download watched them "so I can say that I've seen them" and came away HUGE Maiden fans. They are absolutely stellar live.

Yup, always loved them, ALL the albums, seen them live twice (Somewhere back in time + Final Frontier world tour), definitely among the best bands in the planet
