The most anticipated release of 2005, ...is finally here

Hirax are already the unsung "saviours" of the current state of thrash.

I doubt that even Heathen could make a good enough record to best them.

Heathen beats the bloody shit out of Hirax.

For anyone who has heard the new Exodus how does it compare to these Heathen Demo's.

From what I've heard (little), it sounds like a slightly speedier Pantera with more double bass.

forget about Hirax...

if you want the saviours, try Sauron, Bywar, Corrupted or Aura Noir...
..Thrash is still very much alive without looking for shitty 99th rate bands such as Hirax... :(

You forgot the German band Nocturnal. They fucking rule.

:yow: :tickled:

you're joking! right?

Heathen= talent, great songs, great solos etc......

Hirax= sounds like a garage band.

Exactly, you're 100% right, my point is that people shouldn't complain about minor issues like the singing not being completely spot on or whatever because it's just a demo. I'm sure the actual album will sound even better!

No shit the album will sound better, but if you expect the singer to sound exactly the fucking same over a decade later you're wrong. THAT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO BEARING WHATSOEVER WITH THE QUALITY OF THE PERFORMANCE.

Well I haven't even said that his voice has changed much, 'cause I don't really think he's very different from on Victims of Deception?
