Yeah I understand, "Still Life" and "My Arms..." remain two of my all-time favorite albums, but Opeth's been going downhill further with each release in my opinion. Not that their worst isn't better than the majority of stuff out there or anything. All good things must come to an end I guess....or all good things must sign to Roadrunner eventually, haha.

But yeah, "Ashes..." doesn't disappoint with any track. It's weird, if you head over the to Opeth forums there are some guys there saying it's shit because it's not technically stunning or something, which I don't think has ever really fit in with Agalloch's sound. Rampant Loomis-ins I think would distract if anything. Oh well, ask 5 people for their opinion and you'll get 10 answers.
