The real deal comes out June 26 .. just placed my preorder. There's a promo w/ voiceovers that is tiding me over until then.

I don't know why, but I was nervous about this release. I thought the Never Ending Hill track was solid, but I was hoping it wasn't the best the disc had to offer ... it's not. There are several tracks that I think are superior.

I really think what King has lost in the way of the sky high vocals he's made up for with song writing, catchiness, and atmosphere. I like those haunting little backing vocals that pop up quite a bit, and as always Andy LaRocque's playing is excellent ... there's lots of tasty stuff on this disc.

Anyone else have any thoughts ... I'm really very pleased. I loved The Puppet Master, but I wouldn't be suprised to see this one pass it up.

If anyone was interested in that pre-order check out . http://www.metalblade.com/king/preorder.html

A little over $12 with shipping.

Damn, I hate when I screw up a title ... should be "Rocks" !!

No, I've not heard anything from it yet, but as you know I'm a newcomer to KD. I picked up the "The Graveyard" the other day, but I haven't had the chance to listen to it yet. I'm looking forward to seeing what he's throwing at us this time. Hopefully, I can catch him and the boys on their upcoming tour. :headbang:

Haven't had a chance to spin it yet, but your praise has me curious. Think I'll queue it up now.

Please do so, can't get any feedback yet from anyone. I think it's an A ... it's definately in line with The Pupper Master, and maybe a bit better overall. Let me know what you think. I liked it straight away, but after a few listens I started to think it might be really special.

Listening to it right now. I think you are right on with your opinion. It is right up there with PM. :headbang: I just love that disc!

I need to run thru it a few times though to fully get the whole thing.

Check out this interview with King when you have a chance.

I've listened to it a few times, and it's now my number one album of the year, the King can do no wrong, and has never put out a bad album.

And for anyone who might complain about downloading, I pre-ordered the album.
