No Opeth album gives me the chills like Morningrise. There's something about that closing riff in The Night and the Silent Water, the riff doesn't pound you or make me want to headbang, it just encompasses me, fills me. And then Mikael sorta comes from nowhere and it just feels like he's so close, whispering right into my ear.

Needless to say the song has a strange effect on me

I love the part in the TNATSW when it just stops, and the acoustic part breaks in. Then the atmospheric drumming comes in, followed by some great distorted stuff. Flows perfectly.

TNATSW is ok, dunno why it's Mike and Peter's least favourite Opeth song. But it's nowhere even close to being my favourite.
