Actually I haven't listened to them for years, but when I picked up a Porcupine Tree CD not too long ago they reminded me of them.

Aaaaaaaah, they remind me of my youth I got the best of when I was thirteen or fourteen, and haven't to it for ages! I'm gonna go try find it!

Before I even posted this thread I already assumed that we would be the only two who liked them.

Just like FSOL, stuff like the Orb got me through college. I can't study listening to metal, I pay too much attention to what's going on, ambient music I can just let drift around me...

Hehe, same here, I prefer listening to stuff like that when I work.. But if I'm desperately rushing to get something done or half I'm asleep I listen to metal or some hardcore electronic stuff, because it really helps keep you awake/working fast

i listen a lot to them and to the goa-house 90's movement...
