The Outpatience is the band that was formed by Guns n' Roses associate West Arkeen in the mid-1990's. Arkeen had been known for his works with the once mighty Guns n' Roses, Brother Cane & Asphalt Ballet, this time it was his own project. Anxious Disease has a very contemporary classic rock feel to it, truly a band that shows it's influences that range from the Beatles to Cheap Trick. Unlike their peers, in that era of the genre, they didn't follow the path that had already been taken & done to death. The songs are well written & there is no over playing on the record, they literally let the music do the talking. Each song is meaningful, powerful & there is no filler material, the bulk of the tracks are mid-tempo, but it doesn't drag the record down by any means. The band features Jamie Hunting(David Lee Roth Band, Union) on bass, Joey Hunting(Billy Joel) on guitar, Mike Shotton(Van Groove) on vocals, Abe Laboriel(Seal, McCartney) on drums & West Arkeen on lead guitar, special guests Slash, Axl Rose, Duff, Izzy Stradlin & Steve Stevens. This is probably one of the best records you've never heard & now with Reality Entertainment releasing it in North America for the first time, you can. This record will please fans of Black Eyed Susan, Black Crowes, later Cinderella, G n'R and fans of well written no frills rock n' roll.
