The people at apple are awesome. They are friends of board posters and AIM users.

yeah, but i agree with toby--i want a KEYBOARD, one-touch button that hides windows. neither alt-tab nor show-desktop fulfill this.

You could probably attach the show-desktop thing to a keyboard macro, though, if I was capable of that.

I've been a mac user for years and overall, have never really had any complaints, but.....
recently the printing company I do graphics for upgraded me to a brand new G4 and I'm not that impressed. Yes it is FASTER, but it's also loud as fuck (very loud high pitched whine), the cd/dvd drive is very picky with enhanced cd's (I put in PT in absentia today and it fucking errored), also I've already gotten the "BOMB" on startup several times with some lame ass address error bullshit. This is a $3500 machine.
Still....I'll put up with that shit over having to use a windoze machine. (personal preference) I'm not trying to start a mac/pc war, although that might be fun.

Truthfully, posters, you may want to consider something a little more, shall we say, “accessible” to your particular level of comprehension. The amount of confusion on this thread, quite frankly, has very much put me off.

Yet there is no need for worry, as I have what I know to be quite a lively suggestion!

If you do, in fact, subscribe to the tendencies of lax behavior at the workplace, there is no sense in belaboring the issue or subverting your [true] public attitude. I prescribe this sort of device as a well-founded solution to this ethical thorn:

Do not deny your animal nature, you of the working class!

No need for a thank you. This one is for free.

Ladies, Gentlemen, and Flagellates from the Midwest,

It has come to my attention that a great deal of scrutiny is likely to apply to the images and ideas which do not necessarily concur with your philosphical template.

My advice to that—and trust me, it does not take any lengthy stretch of the imagination to realize that it is entirely valuable aroud these parts—is to simply Shut Your Mouth and Know Your Role.

Also, Speak English or Die. I am looking in your direction, Radames.

Thank you, and you are welcome all at once. A gift from me, to you.
