Few bands ever set foot on Australian soil due to its geographical position. In addition, bands that do come rarely venture to Adelaide even though "metal" is one of, if not the most popular genre over here...

What are the odds of OL coming to Aus? I know that, in recent times, the band has had some popularity over here, or at least from what I have heard on the streets...

When a promoter will book them, then they will come. Just ask your local promoters ;)

Yannick is right but in any case that's not what i heard from my mates down under

It's easier said than done getting promoters fired up here in Adelaide...

Basically, we only have one major metal promoter in Australia, that being 'Scorpion Entertainment' - a company that is almost impossible to contact.

I know for a fact that they are not a business with a good 'public focus' and, dire as it may be, they tend to rely on bands to confront them with interest before they even pay attention to the number of listeners out there...

There is no secret. Make a lot a buzz around, send letters, mails everywhere, organize strikes or whatever possible :D

Cause anyway Orphaned Land does not have the structure to come by themselves :)

If you want to set up a street team in Australia to make some buzz around, contact Nathalie (Mortica NL on the forum).
