Anyone watching?
To this point it has been nothing short of phenominal competition and the J. Nicklaus designed venue is fantastic.
the US leads 9-7 and need to reach 14 1/2 to the Euros 14 points, current Cup holder (Euros) only need a tie to retain.

Many matches (four-ball) today went to the 18th hole to be decided or halved, great stuff. The only thing that may haunt the US is thier best pairing Mickeldick and Kim blew a 4-up lead and Mickeldick missed a makeable winning put on the 17th. Sunday will feature the singles matches / matchplay format...can't wait. The Euros have owned the US recently but it looks like the US has a good chance to win the Cup back this year...even without thier best player Tiger Woods (knee injury). The controversial Captains picks Poulter and Stricker have come up huge so far for both sides.

The US wins it!
The individual matches were close for the most part today...in the end the US took care of business, it was great!
The best thing was the new / young US players actually having a major impact, tasting victory and realizing just how big this event is...should fuel thier fire (of course they'll need to make the team) for future Cups. The US team really needed this to happen.

It's about time the US won again. They had a ton of people who were new to the Ryder Cup and I think that energized the team a bit. Some fresh meat I guess
