There are/were a few Sava tribute bands in the states (not counting Jon Oliva's Pain (yuk yuk)).

Streets was one band out of the Tampa area who were a really good Sava-tribute band.

Yes, the guitarist and vocalist for The Savatage Experience are the same musicians which played in Streets.

I would hardly call JOP a Savatage tribute band. They have three albums of original work, plus another one coming in the near future. I recommend you actually taking a thorough listen to Tage Mahal, Meniacal Renderings, and Global Warning before making statements like "yuk yuk".
