Nice to see a little bit of appreciation for Al DiMeola !!! I just saw him a few months ago at a nice jazz club in downtown San Diego and he left everybody speechless - he shredded on electric, acoustic and nylon with precision and ferocity.

All the winners already have seven-strings, and only a few six-string players even entered the contest. They couldn't have selected at least one six-stringer to be a little fair?

One winner has a 6-string. He just changed up some parts. I saw way too many people complaining about not having seven-strings. It wasn't about being "fair" to people who play on 6-strings. It was about playing the song.
