I'm not sure if this has been posted or if it's old news but I pretty much came across it today for the first time.

Yeah, we discussed it on one or two occasions before here. Jocke (TheDude) was one of the first to give a hands-on opinion.

Steve Vai is apparently all over it and said he wants all his electrics to be re-fretted this way.
