Gotta listen to it again then, IIRC it was pretty good yeah!
Final Fantasy games and all always had great music. Especially VI, IX and X to me (I guess they're because they're the ones I like more, probably a connection between the way the music touches my feelings).

Oh man, I fucking LOVE the piano version of the battle theme, whereas I never really liked the MIDI version (it sounded too much like Spanish bullfighter music to me in the beginning 
) - I much prefer the FFX battle theme

Well, most of the Piano Collection versions are incredible ! Dunno if you have the FFVII one, but the piano arrangements are awesome. JENOVA is perfectly adapted to the instrument. It all depends on who arranged and played that, some of the Piano Collection CDs aren't as good.
The FFX battle them is tremendous too. Almost as epic as the VII one.
And you can burn in hell for the sentence I quoted

+1 to the piano themes. I have them from VII-X and they're all incredible, I think VII and VIII get the most plays though. When I'm at work, they're almost always played at least once per day. Especially when I just need to relax and chill out over something that's getting me worked up

Has anyone here played through FFVII: Crisis Core or listened to the OST? Its absolutely fantastic. For a game designed solely for the PSP, the effort put into the orchestration and production hardly seems worth it unless you are listening to it through some great headphones or, like me, listen to it through some mighty speakers while putzing around the apt, studying, or just being really stoned . The game itself if wonderful, played through it twice, and I would STRONGLY recommend any FFVII junkie to borrow a PSP (granted you don't own one) to play it.
In conclusion, give the Crisis Core OST a listen if you have not already.
