I read about this antimatter song called The summer effect that should have been on the Saviour album but somehow did'nt make it. And I don't see it on the tracklist of the new album either. Will that song ever be released?

In my opinion, Summer effect should have been on Saviour instead of Angelic. It had a great vocal performance by Michelle and in Angelics place wouldve changed the tone of the album to more my liking.
Unfortunately, the Australians were too busy throwing shrimps on the barbie to pay the studio, and the session was cut short.
I still have the demo here , and its got an absolutely pumping drum sound. If Duncan doesnt do anything with it in the future, and if you ask nicely enough he may clean it up and put it on the internet.
Saying that, theres an interesting version of Angelic here too.

How different from the album version? I read somewhere that the song changed a lot when you recorded it for the album...?
