My mission to empty 50 bottles of beer by Wednesday is wearing on me. Sometimes I think I really should've just bought the empty bottles.

when did you start this project?

i'm thinking i'd be dead after 8 or 9...

last week sometime - whenever I started brewing my first batch of beer. I think by the time it's ready, I'm not gonna want to drink any for quite awhile.

As of this morning, we've accumulated about 38 bottles. Having friends over last night helped a bunch.

interesting. so you're trying to consume whatever beer you have left before your own stuff is consumable?

what's the alcohol content gonna be?

I gotta have empty bottles for my 5 gallons of beer to get bottled. the recipe we used is a Newcastle clone, so I'm assuming a standard 4% alcohol or so. I'll have to take a reading when it's ready.
