the thread for people who complain about tone too much

right all u people who complain about tone too much, stop complainning and give me reasons why certain some guitarists have shite tone, cos u all moan and dont really give reasons why and i wanna hear the reasons

like is it the pickups, is it the amp, is it the amp settings, tell me so i dont make such mistakes in the future

what makes a good tone

Gain that sounds smooth not harsh, bass that sounds full not boomy, mids that cut through and don't uh... suck I like mids a lot. and treble that adds presence but doesn't screech.

Basically if it sounds good, or at the very least unique it's good tone. good luck getting it though I don't have it. It's such a bitch to get.
