Definitely the most unique sounding metal and hardcore mixes out there. Love the vibe on most of his stuff. It's all about getting the live energy of a band across. Love his approach to recording too: Acoustic drums, fuzzed out guitars, distortion on everything .

Since Jane Doe I liked the sound of Converge, but never "understood" the music. Then No Heroes came, and I was sold, instantly I also got the hang of their older work! Now it's one of my top 5 bands.

I've noticed that there aren't a lot of recurring factors in his mic choices. Heil Sound PR30 & Mojave 201 FET on snare most of the time. SM91 on kick-in and PR30 on some guitar amps. The rest is different on every session. He seemed to be using Heil PR40's on Toms a lot but changed them out recently.

On all of the pics I've seen of Godcity he seems to be micing 3 guitar amps. How does that work? Left, right and center? Does he quad track?

Pretty sure he doesn't do just mixing anyone dude, but you can always ask!
