The Triumvirate Of The Scarlet Twilight

Just uploaded Petrychor info to metalarchives, really enjoyed that track. I thought it lapsed a little bit into gayWITTR territory in the middle, could have done with a bit more aggression, but parts of it were very good.

So I'm listening to Trist's "Willenskraft" and thinking this is pretty damn good. It's like a more droney Lunar Aurora. So...um..should we like talk about it or something?

I really like Paysage d Hiver, always found it to be the sort of music I have to be in the mood for though. Which Trist are we talking about, because I remember hearing the Czech version awhile ago and thinking it was pretty darn good.

I made some comment quite a few days ago about not understanding a quote of Eli's that referenced some "Triumvirate."

Only now do I understand, because this is seriously the first time I looked at this thread. I've avoided it for so long because I thought the "Triumvirate of the Scarlet Twilight" was some moniker coined by three pretentious, unlistenable new age black metal groups (like Wolves in the Throne Room) who want to set themselves apart from other black metal acts.

Instead, it's just a moniker coined by three pretentious, unlistenable new age black metal posters. Just kidding guys, I actually have almost the exact same tastes.

Great. Just when America's attempt Black Metal has almost wholeheartedly been so unoriginal, cultureless and shit, we have more garbage like this to receive blind fandom. Everything posted in this thread is boring as fuck.

That said, I will however say that the new Twilight album is brilliant.

"Scarlet Twilight" sounds like a Gay bar.

Right on. The Police Academy Blue Oyster kind too.

Ha, everything posted here is boring but Twilight isn't? What the hell, man. This isn't even about American BM...reading the first fucking page would tell you that...you seriously think Paysage d'Hiver is shit?
