These are both very good musically but with production from arse (usually I don't give a damn about production), I rarely enjoy them. Which one you prefer?

I choose Barathrums Hailstorm again, the king of bad productions (or wait, maybe thats the genius of the album, it's only meant to sound bad, yeah, if I repeat that long enough I believe it :D )

b) I don't like Emperor

Wow, you're into black metal but you don't like Emperor?

I thought Emperor 'was' black metal!!!:headbang:

Ulver because, as bad as the production of Nattens Madrigal is, I simply cannot sit through Wrath of the Tyrants, the production makes it indechiperable. I do however have the reissue with the Enslaved split's tracks on it, and I find these songs to be very good and the production adequate.

hornblow555: Isn't that Emperor/Enslaved split the one with Emperor EP, not Wrath of the Tyrant. I agree what you say about WotT, but Emperor EP is well listenable, at least what comes to the two tracks which are not on Nightside Eclipse (Night of the Graveless Souls and Wrath of the T.). Forgive me if I'm wrong. ;)
