What is the ultimate musical experience?

So far my ultimate musical experience was seeing Opeth and Nevermore, two of my favorite bands, playing live, right after each other. Having my favorite songs created right in front of me and singing along with Mike and then Warrel was a powerful experience. I'm getting that feeling just thinking about it. If you've had it you know what feeling I mean. Now, if only Blind Guardian would come to Atlanta, I could die a happy person.:tickled:

well i always wanted to walk around with opeth playing on a ghetto blaster, so i could listen to it really loud, cant really when people are home  come to think of it i dont listen to growling/heavy music at home unless its really low and the doors closed. i left still life downstairs once, and when my brother saw the cover, he was like you listen to devil worshiping music bla bla, and i had to get hassel trying to say it wasnt. anyway where was i

 , whenever i listen to music i have to use my headphone. i left morningrise one once and my brother here it, he was like "what the was that". the hardest thing i have to do is getting my brother to order me cd. since i can't go to any show. i listen to mp3 and use reverb and surround sound plugin to enchance it.

Thanks for bringing this thread back to the top Jo....

Until today I thought the best way to listen to music was at night in a dark room with no other distractions. After doing that for years today I drove for 6 hours and found out that driving down the highway through the countryside is my favorite way to listen to music. There is nothing like looking out the window at the nature that surrounds you and listening to your favorite music. I wish I had a reason to do that all the time it was a fantastic change.

When I drive to my girlfriends house, it is dirt roads and bush all around you...Opeth is grand for that...the music and nature enhance each other and I am always tempted and stopping to just enjoy the mood.

My best metal experience this far was seeing SLAYER live in melbourne

That was bloody ecstasy!!!

Hearing the start of "raining blood" just sent electricity through me. The entire atmosphere just had me smiling like an idiot. It made my life complete!!

If i do get to see opeth live next year, i can die in peace man
