i think the mad cow case is different than the other ones the article mentioned. it's highly likely canada WAS the source...this isn't something that was just made up to smear canada. whereas mysterious Arab immigrants who don't exist don't share the same realm of reality.

anyway, if not for Canada's lax immigration laws, some of my relatives would not have been able to immigrate to Canada from Poland and then sneak across the border to live here. so they're not ALL bad.

There is still no concrete evidence that it did come from here, despite widespread affirmation of the contrary in the media. There WAS a few cases of mad cow in Canada some time ago but that doesn't mean the current cases in the US come from here.

Well, the media has been careful to say that they haven't determined positively--yet--that it's come from Canada. That seems the right way to handle it.

i have like 6,000 things to say about this mad cow business but no energy to bother.
