The voice keeps getting better...

I've been spinning the White Darkness album for a good three weeks now and I have to mention that Dan's vocal performance keeps getting better and better. He is at his expressive best; his voice exudes sheer emotion and power throughout. Even though The Closing Chronicles is still my personal favourite in terms of its dark prog rock vibe, I feel as a singer Dan has grown incalculably.

So kudos to Dan and the rest of the guys for the amazing job they did on White Darkness.

yeah... I first had the same sensation when listening to Stalingrad the first time.
The power in his voice when the song grows ...

Now on White Darkness I just love it when Dan uses more of the powerful vocals, but also that he blends the different styles so beautifully.

I have to say, I'm dying to hear To my inspiration live.
I bet Dan whil get a huge emotional charge into the vocals.
I feel like crying just thinking about it.

I have a reputation to maintain
no but seriously...Dan's clean vocals have improved signifficantly since the 90's...as for the grunts...Dan doesn't really grunt all that much anymore
