The weather is SO fucked up here

Same here - I walked the dogs in shorts today (here in N. Eastern CT). I hope it stays this way as my wife is traveling on business and would hate to have delays due to inclement weather bog things up for her - she is flying about 6 times in the next 10 days, mostly here in the east.

i kinda hope it starts to cool down in the coming days; warm weather at this time of the year doesn't sit right with me. i like my winters cold and summers warm, that's the way i see it here in new england (also from CT)

It has been getting below freezing right after the sun sets here in NorCal, one of the coldest winters we have had, except the one we had 2 years ago when it snowed, we actually had an all time record low of 18F or something like that. Hottest part of the day is still warm, in the upper 40s and in direct sunlight, it actually feels like your sitting in front of a space heater, the get in the shade and freeze your ass off because it is like 30 degrees colder. The California sun is ridiculous, but it is still relatively cold here.

I absolutely hate the summers here, way too hot. I just discovered ice skating and I think I will spend my summers at the local rink where they keep it just above freezing.

Fuck summer, here it just gets ridiculous in the summer, like Iraq desert ridiculous. It's been averaging in the 40s-50s-60s for the last month with some nights in the 30s where we had to run the drips on the taps. No pipe covering so far.

Yeah eff that noise.

I was in Alabama about 2 years ago on a job. Most brutal thing I've ever done. It was probably between 90-100 every day outside. But - we had to work inside this HUGE old warehouse...no power/lights, etc. There were a few bay doors but we could only get 1 of them open. It must have been 120 degrees in that building. Fucking insane. Meanwhile working my ass off disassembling steel processing machinery, in the dark, with lights we had to get from Walmart and attach them to posts and run them off our generator.

Sorry. Rambling. Carry on.

Here's a question:

Q: When was the last ice age?
A: We're technically still in it

....(at the very end of it at least)

the temperature over here is...just a second i'll tell you as soon as i have disinfected the thermometer.

-5°C here, snowing atm, but it was pretty warm, we had almost 20°C on christmas...that was pretty crazy,
we had -20°C on christmas eve 2 years ago, that was way more normal :D

Walked the dogs in shorts less than 48 hours ago - woke up to nearly 6 inches of snow this morning. It's New England, need I say more?
