Fuck summer, here it just gets ridiculous in the summer, like Iraq desert ridiculous.

This past summer was actually pretty mild compared to 2011. That one was beyond brutal. But yeah, getting a bit tired of the summers here. It's the lack of rain that really gets to me, though. I'm from the Louisiana swamps so rain is in my blood.

It's finally around normal temps here in Chicago, but we haven't had one measurable snowfall here all winter which is really unusual and I kind of feel bad for the snowplow guys that usually do that to make a living in the winter.
