Just tonight I sail into a dream
Far beyond the dusk
Into silver rays of light
I must make a journey through this world
Into the next
Across Midgard, over Nifheim
I soar high above with Thought and Memory
All over the nine worlds
Climbing all about Yggdrasil
Now I'm found
No other feeling to explain this liveliness
I see my body far below
On that battle field barely breathing
Clinging to every rare strand of life
Coughing up blood
Spitting up last rites
My body lies there murmuring prayers
My sword I see is broken and dull with glory
No one's around my fading spirit
Was this ending meant for me?
"Thor! Give me strength!"
My body cries hard and full
Desperately fighting off the Njorns' will
"I will not die like this! I will not die alone!"
I look to the sky to see the Ravens not there
Messengers of Odin, they must have flown home
As the clouds part to reveal Vahalla
"I am not ready to part....I cannot leave my body like that"
What more could I say?
The Ravens came back singing tales of honor
When Odin appeared
"Now is not your time. Your body's will is too strong."
His battle worn smile was that of respect
I looked back down
My body was slowly healing
I felt myself turn into wind and rush into my substance
And on I fought
Til the war was done

~~TO BE CONTINUED~~

From the edge of Battle I let out my war cry
My death cry
Then drop to my knees and weep
As my brothers die and are slain
I swear my vengence on all foes here
All foes before me must die, fall faster then my brothers
The war did stop when the promised king died
Murdered by the English
What words of comfort could bind my hate?
Revenge is never too late
So this is why I was given a second chance
Sent back to Midgard
To slaughter the "civil"
Sword of my brother I take from the ground
Gathering strength from the runes carved apon it
Looking over my shoulder I see they are too far away
So the bow I exchange for
With an arrow I aim for their unhonorable King
"May all the glory of the Norse guide this arrow of fate"
Straight and true it did fly
Well through the King's black heart
As a sword ran through my own heart
Revenge attained
Reward granted as I take my seat in Valhalla
Such irony that the king and I would perish at the same time
But here I am and there he is not
To behold the greatest in the universe:
The Will of Glory!!!
