im not a fan of within temptation...but to be fair to them...they were around and popular a lot longer than evanescence has been.

in my opinion, opeth's earlier stuff isnt as good when compared to their newer stuff. and i just found it funny that theatre of tradgedy's earlier stuff is alot better than their newer stuff. its like, the two bands contradict each other.

hm. well, they dont have anything to do with eachother, other than just coincidentally both bands' have changed...one regressed, the other progressed.

You can call ToT beauty and beat Metal (as far as the vocals are concerned)
and the Male vocals are not that good but the old music and melodies of ToT are celestial to say the least and very creative and unique.

They are not comparable to Within Temptation or Evanascence (I dont want to even WRITE their name on an Opeth forum lol)
