Things you learned this weekend

I had to urinate about 20 times.

Also the first hour was hellish, but the next two were awesome.

-Don't ever except to get paid for playing in Montenegro. Not even enough to break even.

-Don't expect anyone to buy you a beer in Montenegro.

-Don't expect anyone to not ask you for a cigarrette in Montenegro.

-The first train back to Belgrade from Podgorica is at 11am.

-Nothing in Podgorica is open between 5am and 11am.

my entire bag is soaked and sticky and smells like raspberry iced tea.

my copy of Best American Short Stories 2004 is ruined.

the latest New Yorker is half-ruined.

the charger for my mp3 player no longer works.

the yellow and pink carbon copies of my practicum form which have to be turned in to brighton high school smell like tea and are sticky and brown.

-When writing papers while very tired sometimes you fade out and start righting all the gibberish that runs through your head without knowing it.

this is indeed something you learned, but its simultaneously a litany of tragedy!

poor alex that really sucks. :(
can you soak the bag in the sink and then hang it up to dry? dishwashing detergent should get the smell out of it and not ruin it, if it's nylon/cotton.

well last night i soaked it in the sink and hung it up, and not only was it wet this morning but somehow still sticky/tea-y?!

i rinsed it again and hung it up before i left for work. we'll see.

it's funny, i had finished every assigned story in the book except for the Alice Munro one, which i was halfway through. thus ended my attempt to, for ONCE in my college career, read everything assigned for a class. (and this was my last class)

you soaked it and washed it with soap? weird that it's still sticky. must be really sugary tea! anyway, it may dry faster if you lay it on a towel on top of a radiator or something.

well you dont need to use hot water. just take some dish/hand soap and suds up the water and then soak the bag and swish it around a little (for like 2-3 minutes) then let it sit for about 5 more, then rinse it off really well. the waterproofing will be fine.
