oh man.
NON-IMPARTIAL synopsis:
- details horrid physical and verbal abuse by father during early years, which might explain everything, if he is telling the truth. which i sort of question.
- vehemently denies any facial reconstruction beyond nose surgery, to allow for better breathing.
- repeatedly explains that sleeping in the same room (or, on occasion, bed) with a child is NOT sexual, but merely a "love" thing. i'm inclined to believe him on this.
- how tatum o'neal tried to sex him when he was 13 but he covered his hands with his face and she left. he meekly apologized to tatum before telling the story.
- entered a las vegas high-end museum store type of knick-knack retailer and pretended to buy everything (by my tally, somewhere in the $5-7,000,000 range, really making a show of it... but only dropped 1 mil. this was the most frightening scene. well, almost. very painful to watch.
- lied about his monetary worth
- acts increasingly manic, especially after the baby dangling incident. legs are going a mile a minute while he sits there feeding "blanket" jackson, frantically trying to keep his face covered with a silk cloth...
- kids are shown; all are deathly white and wear bird masks.
- neverland is shown in detail.
- spends major interview time in front of massive painting depicting himself as a greek god, enrobed in golden cloth, surrounded by many kissing cherubs.
- while denying anything more than friendship, is interviewed while holding the hand of a 12 year old boy who visits him frequently.
- um, there was so much more.
he basically seems to be a meth'd-out, chronic liar in a state of severe arrested development. nothing more, nothing less.
i don't believe he has sex with the kids, though. sex SEEMS to repulse him.
