Thomen's project sounds very much like classic BG. I guess he got fed up with the 200+ tracks layered over his drum tracks. The Persuader singer is probably the best Hansi sound-a-like there is. What a kick in the balls for the other BG guys. Interesting that this got me more psyched than A Night At The Opera.

Thomen's new project sounds EXACTLY like classic BG... is that a good thing??? only time will tell... And the singer of Savage Circus sounds a bit like Pete Sielck no?

BG is among several bands ive heard that would be a lot better if they ditched their shitty singer and powermetal cliches (ie boring riffs durring singing parts, big gay sing-a-long chorus about dragons and elves, etc) becuase ive heard some of their shit and some riffs were cool. i cant stand that super layered vocal thing he does either. terrible!

I'm actually listening to Thomen's new project.... sounds very very good!! I actually love Persuader, so I'm happy with how things are working out.
