Thrashing with TESTAMENT

Live in Eindhoven. For two reasons

1) Because of RoT sung by Billy
2) Because I was THERE!!!

Man that was a great gig! The rain was really pissing down on us but nobody cared. The sound was great and Testament RULED!!

They had just hired Chuck Billy, they used to have Zetro, I still have the demo with him, had just released their first album, and Alex was also still there.

I remember visiting some bars in Eindhoven with Chuck, Alex and their producer also called Alex [Periacles or something]. This producer was drunk and kept saying "I have no ego", "I have no ego". Weird dude!

Besides "Live in Eindhoven" I like "The Legacy" [of course] and "The Gathering" the only prob I have with "The Gathering" is that the solo's are bad or even worse, not there!

Actually I never touch the stuff. I hardly drink any alcohol at all. Besides I was to fucking busy to thrash around like a possessed maniac!!

The Gathering. Amongst most Testament fans you will find the same anwer with The Legacy and Low being close seconds. As you can see by my Avatar, I'm a huge Testament fan.

I consider Testament to be one of the few bands that I have gotten into that have NEVER put out anything but great material. I love all their albums.

But actually my fave would have to be one that a lot of people don't consider one of their better ones and that would have to be Souls Of Black. I got that when I was 17 and it just still remains to be an awesome album for me.

Practice What You Preach... I must of seen them like 3 to 5 times on that tour at Sundance in Bayshore Long Island when it was still open.. they put on great shows though i dont remember them now because it was years ago.. Alex is a very underrated guitarist... i think his leads were great especially on The Ballad...

Jokes aside was my first Testament album (yes I know I'm weird). I heard the song on MTV (yes MTV once had metal) and fell for it, afterwards I got the album, then "The Gathering" (I skipped "Demonic" up to this day), and then went back for the classic line-up ones (except "The Ritual" too bland for me).

'Low', 'Dog-Faced Gods', 'Hail Mary', 'Urutsokidoji' are instant faves.:headbang:

Hawk, that is super cool that you were at that show !

I have a tough time picking a favourite TESTAMENT album because I like almost all of them. I´d go with "The Legacy", "The New Order" and "Souls Of Black".

I was at every show at the Dynamo for the first ten years. Maybe I missed on or two but other than that I was present at all of them including the DOA's
