The double live album. Probably not the best introduction to a band, but if every hour-and-a-half-or-better live release sounded this good, the particular medium wouldn't carry such a stigma. Since until this release I was unfamiliar with THRESHOLD's prog / power metal ways I'm probably not the best judge for this, but the musicianship is extremely tight and the recording sounds better than what most studios pass off as production. The music seems good enough, even if I'm not a huge fan of modern progressive metal. I see no reason why THRESHOLD fans would be disappointed though.

I totally agree on this one. I picked this up just to get a feel for the band, as I knew I would somewhat like their sound. I was totally happy with my blind purchase, and will check into this band some more. Great sound quality as well for a live release...

Inside Out Records, can I be your bitch?

Inside Out has a lot of potential, but I can't get into much of their stuff for a long time. I prefer my prog more progressive. :)
