I have been waiting to see them live since I missed them back in 2002

holy christ did they rock my world...

PP 8 has been SO great - THANK YOU GLENN!

Threshold ROCKED:headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::

^100% agreed.

And is it just me, or did it seem like their set went by in about a minute? I was so into it, the time just flew. They've always been one of my favorite bands, and I was thrilled to finally see them live. I'm putting in my vote now for Threshold for headliners at PP XI!

Now, that was AWESOME!! As some of the guys said, I dont have words to describe the set.
I pick Mission Profile and Fragmentation.

As much as I love Mac, and as on the fence as I was about the whole thing, I didn't miss him for a second. Damian owned every song, and for me, this was an even more enjoyable set than Threshold's appearance at PPUSA III. I genuinely hope they find a way to record some new material togehter.

I missed part of their set and I hate myself for it. They were one of the bands I most wanted to see, and Damian did silence any doubts I had. They're tied with After Forever as my second favorite Saturday band.

My jaw was on the floor for their entire set, and I agree that it felt like it went by in a minute. Easily the best band of the festival for me, despite their reduced set length. Threshold for PPUSA IX Showcase!

What was Damien talking about when he said they couldnt play for longer bc of him, and I thought they played for an hour whcih is good for a #3 spot?

Apparently he showed up late, which is why they crossed Sanity's End off the setlist. When he started singing the beginning of it by accident though, they went ahead and played it anyway, and cut Light and Space and This Is Your Life instead. They only ended up playing about 53 minutes as a result.

I went to this ProgPower because of Threshold and I was disappointed. The vocals werent there for me.

Threshold sounded great mucically but when it came to the vocals Damian just didn't cut it for me. Bring "MAC" back!!!

Damian Wilson put on a flawless performance. He really took Mac's songs and made them his own, and absolutely nailed Sanity's End.

The second Slipstream ended I knew I had no reservations about Damian doing Macs songs

As for Mac coming back... ummm he bailed on the band so don't expect that anytime too soon

Threshold was awesome. I liked Damian's work with Threshold well, but I thought Mac had become the true voice of Threshold, and I expected I would be disappointed with all the Mac tunes. It took about two songs for me to forget about Mac. Damian won me over quickly, and I thought it was a great set. Wilson showed himself to be one of the better frontmen to ever play at Prog Power .. in my opinion at least.
