Tiamat-Lacuna coil in greece!

You are trying to say that he does what Century Media is wanting him to do? I don't think so. Bands evolve mate take for example Anathema. I think he is going he is way and does what he wants to do, you may not like it but i do. I think they are one of the few orignal bands nowdays.

first of all, it should be a question to you for it seems you're into Tiamat nowadays. And secondly, i know bands evolve, and me is the least who wants the same album again and again. I think people here know that. I was trying to explain what i have in mind from the media (and sorry if this wasn't quite clear), and that was that it seems Tiamat would not follow their own minds but licking record company's arses because they change their opinion that fast, if you understand what i mean. So i wanted to know from you if this true because i'm not familiar with the band anymore! Hope this will make my post clear!

cheers

Or maybe both *gg*
Wildhoney is my favourite Tiamat album and I was really looking forward to the tour then (of course also because of Anathema ;) ). It was a huge dissapointment for me to see that the poor guy can't sing the deep vocals in Gaia (one of my favourite ones). I felt cheated in some way. Like seeing on of those Popstars gig where you realize that actually they can't sing at all. I thought it might be that he was tired of the tour or something (it was their last gig then) but I saw them again last year (with Pain :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: ) and it was exactly the same.

But there was something really great about that Tiamat gig few years ago. It was the last song when all the three bands (Tristania, Anathema and Tiamat) were on stage doing this one song together :worship: So many people on that tiny stage *ggg*

oh c'mon you gotta be kidding me, there were no soul in their music that night. and besides they stayed very little at stage.

Which song was that???
The "male" in Tristania behaved like a dickhead on Graspop
'that dickhead' is in the band since the last album. before it was another 'dickhead'

Okay, but this is not very manly:

Well the Tiamat-Lacuna Coil gig was definitely a surprise for this year, and i'm surely looking forward to it :headbang: :hotjump: :D

To be honest i'm more eager to see Lacuna than Tiamat and that's cos i've enjoyed all Lacuna Coil's albums, but i couldn't say the same about Tiamat, especially for the last one "Judas Christ"... I mean, ok, "Vote for love" is ok, but just ok, you can't even compare it with their previous stuff. And as for Edlund's voice, i don't think he could ever be described as a good singer, but he's got this weird way of pronouncing some words, even whispering them
Anyway, i just hope he'll make it through the show hehe :p

yeah go Giorgos
but i prefer you singing So fell autumn rain / Lake of Tears

So fell autumn rain washed away all my pain
I feel bnghter somehow lighter somehow to breath once
again...

Its gay.

There was a reason for doing that ;)

"Next up was Soilwork.... They were attacked by members of Hypocrisy, who rushed the stage a few songs into the set armed with baby power, and finished the song without missing a note despite the clouds of powder covering everything. While the band was cleaning the powder off their gear Strid annouced that this was the last date of their tour and said that they would get even during Hypocrisy's set. .....
Before Hypocrisy's set the crew covered the monitors with black plastic so it was obvious that Soilwork was going to try to get even in a wet way. I've been a huge fan of Hypocrisy and have been wanting to see them for a long, long time. The lights dimmed, the intro for "Apocalypse" started, and the band (with the exception of Lars) came on stage wearing only their underwear.... During the first song some of the Soilwork guys came out and poured water down the back of the bands shorts, which threw them off a little but not enough to make a difference..."
