Tidal Wave July 7th & 8th - San Francisco Metalfest

Hey all! Been a while since I posted here.

I just wanted to bring this metal fest to your attention. This marks the 10th year for Tidal Wave - San Francisco's only annual metalfest. A few of you will really dig this old school line up. Best of all, it's FREE! Here is the confirmed roster for this years event:

Anvil Chorus has dropped, but we have a few unconfirmed bands waiting to be added. We're hoping to announce a headliner soon. For those interested in helping out financially or physically, please let me know ASAP. We'd like to make the 10th anniversary one to remember.

An amazing old school line-up for the festival... and for free!!!

I wish I could go but I´m afraid Madrid is too far for San Francisco.

Seeing Blind Illusion it would be amazing. Obviously it´s not the without Claypool and Lalonde but quite interesting listening songs from one of the best albums of the 80´s.

But, for me, the highlight would be Mordred. However, I don´t agree with you. I love old school, thrash and traditional metal but, in my opinion, Mordred´s "In this life" is one of the best albums ever. I don´t like funk but that album is a piece of art, a masterpiece

Rumor has it Dave White (Godfrey) from Heathen, will be joining Blind Illusion and will be performing the killer old demo stuff. He hasn't performed with them since '84!
