I always rewind. It think it's kinda ... drawn out. I like the start of Blackwater Park better.

I deleted the first 20-25 seconds off the intro and re-faded it so it takes about 3 seconds for the first riff to start, so i dont have to wait

Nope. I memorized it so that I know when to start playing (and headbanging).

I memorized the it just like I memorize most anything music relate. Memorizing solos note for note, pitches, tone, lyrics, riffs, beats, etc., isn't demanding by any stretch as long as you put the time in and try to absorb of much of what's going on as you can. It's easy to memorize most anything if you're able to enjoy it.
