I did an EP for a band a couple of months ago and they have just uploaded one of the songs with timpani samples.
We wanted a big majestic dark chorus and timpani really gave the effect we were after.
In the mix the level was set to overpower everything.
Really happy with how this turned out.
Timpani sound is from either Kontakt or EXS24 in logic. Can't remember.
