We're back! Brought back a bout of the flu so gonna disappear for a while. uke: Too much happened to talk about - unbelievable trip. Yes, Marty came down after the second show to say hello and came to dinner. He's just amazing. He was heading to Singapore on tour with another band and wasn't back in time to make our last show. NEXT TIME!! One of my life dreams cames true which was to play for my Japanese relatives who have never seen me play before. I made a promise to them 23 years ago that I would return to Japan through music and play for them someday and it finally happened. That last few times in Japan were military and they were not able to attend and too far, so this time they were able to come.

THANK YOU, Japan and everybody who helped make it all happen.

Glad you all returned home safe, Linda. Ah, so that's why you were all wearing masks on the pics Courtney posted on Facebook. Get well soon! BTW, how's Sara feeling?

And it was awesome to have your relatives see you and the Maidens perform. Hope you were able to have pics and videos taken during the tour.

I think we are all waiting patiently for the stories and pictures ( can't go to Japan and not have any pictures taken, can you?).
Too cool about our cousins!!!!! I will make a trip there one day....
Sorry to hear that Sara wasn't feeling well:-( just as long as her wheels didn't fall off!!!

Yeah, it was SO amazing!!! I can't wait to go back! So many highlights and wonderful memories, not the least of which was getting to meet several members of Linda's (and Maiden Afganistan's) family. And free sake and wine on the airplane ( uke: )...and having dinner with Marty Friedman...and touring with and meeting some really cool, talented musicians...and getting acupuncture for the first time...and eating tofu burgers at Freshness Burger...and sitting on heated toilet seats...

Those heated toidy seats were A M A Z I N G!!!!! I gotta get to the Mitsua or Greenland market and check into getting one of those!!!! :hotjump:

Are you gals still falling apart or finally on the mend. Do I need to get the Duck tape out to fix you? I can play Mr fix it or McGiver if I need to. If that fails Mom's Chicken soup is an almost gaurntee that we can make you feel better fast.
