Gawd damn porn sites are ruthless. My poor computer was fucked every time I looked at porn when I was stuck with IE at home. Even got a virus from a frickin' pop up, how gay is that?
Here at work I use Lavasoft Ad-Aware (you can google for it) to get rid of spyware. I just ran it for the first time in months, only 20 buggers came up. We have a pretty strict firewall at work though.

That's exactly what was happening with my home laptop. My IE would open to some weird yellow page with about 5 pop-ups, plus I'd get a notice that I had a virus. But when I looked at the virus name, it was spyware.JayKeeley said:

Man, you know my reasons for not going anywhere this year, but seriously, that is one helluva line-up at the Sweden Rock Fest. Regarding SpyWare - These people are just bastards. I've got Norton (Firewall and Anti-virus) and it looks like they found one open port on my firewall and sent a keygrabber spyware which just hogged my 56k (dialup) bandwidth. It was such a bitch to rid, which involved re-installing Norton and reconfiguring the damn thing....I hate staring at my PC for hours, espcially now as the Sun is out and the skirts are getting shorter....
