I'm failing to understand how being 'an originator' makes up for being a crappy vocalist? That's like saying the original Model T is better than an Aston Martin, simply because it was one of the first of it's kind.

That's if you believe he is a crappy vocalist, i certainly don't
plus being an originator in my book gives you extra points it's easy to improve on an already laid template.
His voice is soo worn down....he has been singing Death metal for so long now....but his patterns and some of his lyrics are still amazing....Plus i believe the dude has some serious Asthma problems(don't know this for sure) so being able to do what he does with asthma is amazing in it's self

Again, terrible argument. You're giving him handicap points for ridiculous things. I don't care if his voice is worn down or if he has asthma - there are dudes who sound better, period, and you should give them the credit they deserve instead of glorifying this guy.
Don't get me wrong, dudes who play wheelchair basketball have 10x the heart and strength I do, but they still aren't as good as dudes in the NBA.
